There are many ways you can mess up a job interview, but only one way to nail it. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

According to FastCompany.com there is one thing you should focus on at your next job interview. Something that will go a long way in getting you a second interview or an offer letter. And it’s authenticity. Every hiring manager wants to get to know you and determine if you’re the right fit for the company, so let them in. According to Fast Company there are a few ways to do that. First, share your presence. When answering a question, look them in the eye and hold contact. Keep a warm expression on your face. Smile often and make it genuine. Don’t turn away from the person you’re talking to and avoid crossing your arms. Next, share your ideas with them. don’t say things you think they want to hear, instead show that you have bold thoughts of your own. For more ways to put yourself out there go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. This is not the time to hold back. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
