Turns out Steve Jobs didn’t have all the answers. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

Steve Jobs, the man behind the iPhone and the black turtleneck. Known for wearing the same thing everyday as a way to make life easier. And he wasn’t alone in that. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and President Obama have also been known to repeat their outfits to cut down on so-called decision fatigue. But does it really work? To find out a writer from Business Insider tried wearing the same outfit every day for a week. The idea is that not having to make that one decision will give you energy to focus on more important choices. So, the Business Insider writer began laying out the same outfit and wearing it every day. And he found that it did speed up his morning routine. But it doesn’t solve all of your time management and brain power problems. According to a research director at the decision lab there are other things that impact how effective you are. Items such as sleeping well, your diet and ability to multitask. Just rewearing the same shirt won’t cut it. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
