Birthday Blunder: Walmart Makes A BIG Mistake On This Cake

by | Jul 29, 2019

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]Every parent wants their child’s birthday to be a day to remember… and this is one way to do it!

A few months ago Melin Jones went to her local Walmart to get a cake for her daughter’s second birthday. She asked the baker to write “happy birthday lizard,” a pet name she gave her daughter when she was born. So the baker did the job, mom grabbed the cake and took it home for the party.

But when she popped the candles on she noticed instead of “happy birthday lizard” the cake read “happy birthday loser.” Mom says she was shocked at first and then just started laughing. She even took a picture of her daughter with the cake, which is now going viral.

Melin says she has no hard feelings towards the people at Walmart and went back for another cake. This one simply said “happy birthday elizabeth.” Melin says at first she didn’t want to post the pictures but her friends encouraged her to share her story with other parents.

And besides… at least her two year old daughter can’t read yet.
