Your next trip to the store could be a lot more interactive.

More stores are doing away with cashiers and check-out lines to make shopping smoother for customers. So which stores are embracing the high-tech lifestyle over personal interaction?

According to MSN Money, some of the biggest chains are making the switch. For example: Walmart. Last year the company tried rolling out an in-store payment app which customers were slow to accept. So now the company is trying something called “check out with me” where walmart employees are given check out devices to use anywhere on the floor.

Mcdonald’s, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell are installing kiosks so you can make sure your order is exactly how you want it. If you’re not in the mood for fast food, head to Chili’s or T.G.I. Friday’s. Sit at a table and order what you want from a table kiosk, you can even pay and head out without having to flag anyone down for the check.

Now the next time something is wrong with your order, you have no one to blame but yourself.
