At Dracula’s castle, doctors are hoping to give people life instead of sucking it dry. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

Every weekend through this month, vaccination marathons are being held just outside the 14th century castle. Known as “Bran Castle” this is said to be the inspiration behind Dracula’s home in the book and movie “Dracula.” The marketing manager says no appointment is needed and the purpose is to show people a different way to get the vaccine. Anyone who does it will receive a “vaccination diploma” which has a picture of a fanged medical worker holding a syringe. Besides the diploma the newly vaccinated will also be given free entry to the castle’s torture rooms with more than 50 medieval torture devices. While the idea of a free tour of Dracula’s home is appealing to many people, the offer is only good for residents of Romania. The country is using the gimmick to speed up its vaccine campaign. Right now, the country is hoping to vaccinate five million of its nineteen million population by the beginning of June. So, they’re bringing in the big gimmicks. No garlic necessary.
