Boston’s skinny house is back on the market, and the price tag has jumped. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

In the North End of Boston sits a thin, rectangular-shaped house of just over eleven hundred square feet. But here’s the catch. At its widest point the home is just ten feet and things get more narrow at the back where the widest measurement is nine feet. But despite the oddity there’s a market for the unique home. When last on the market in twenty seventeen it sold for nine hundred thousand dollars. Now it’s been listed again, with a selling price of one point two million. The home has four stories and a private deck with views of the Boston harbor. There’s also updated appliances, hardwood floors, exposed brick and a Juliet balcony facing private gardens. Everything a future homeowner could want. There are a few other quirks to it. There is no front door, instead guests enter through a private side door where they enter into a full-sized kitchen and dining room. Four bedrooms and bathrooms are included.
