It might be known as Sin City, but Vegas still has a lot of rules to follow. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.
One of the staples of a good Las Vegas vacation is the pool party. Some day drinking, mixed with music, and a whole lot of people at one of the hotels’ ritzy pool areas. But pack lightly because according to USA Today, it turns out there are some things you are not allowed to bring inside the gates. For example, Tic Tacs. The small mints are just one item on the list of prohibited items. It also bans gum, nasal spray, over the counter medication and at some places, prescription medication. Eye drops are also a no. same with wearable technology. So if you were hoping to track your steps or calories, you’ll have to do it without your smart watch. Once your pockets and purses are clear, there’s a dress code to consider. Banned clothing includes athletic wear, baggy clothing, tank tops and excessive chains and jewelry. Some pools even ban the practice of wearing socks with sandals. Maybe just plan to pack lightly. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
