Want to land a job, don’t forget the magic word. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

Your resume is meant to paint you in the best possible light. It’s a list of your accomplishments, attributes and reasons why you would be absolutely perfect for whatever job you’re applying to. In order to do that you need to find the right words. According to job site the Ladders.com the best words for your resume are success verbs, words that demonstrate success. They make the point that, because of you, something at your old company was better. Because of you, something changed, improved or progressed. Some examples of these include increased, decreased and reduced. Words and phrases you should delete from your resume are ones such as managed, hired to or was responsible for. These are verbs that simply tell a fact rather than show you in the best possible light. Plus, they describe something which seems pretty obvious. So which success words should you use? To help you out, the Ladders.com has a list of the 25 best success verbs. Make sure to spell them right. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
