Recruiters are looking for a lot of things on your resume… and some you don’t even know about.
Looking for a job can be a roller coaster of emotions. And while you might have all the key things on your resume such as experience, education and a catchy opening line, some things might still be missing.
According to the job resource site Inc.com, there are five items recruiters look for that most people don’t know about. For example, the connection between your resume and your linked in profile. The resume you send out needs to match the information on your profile, they should tell the same story. A recruiter will certainly check that out, and they’re looking for all the same companies or organizations and all the same bullet points.
Another one: interesting hobbies. Recruiters get bored scanning thousands of resumes so include something that helps you stand out and something you can discuss in an interview.
