People are tired, and a new Hong Kong bus tour is banking on it. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

Looking to catch a little shut-eye, sign up for Hong Kong’s sleeping bus tour. It’s a 47 mile ride on a double decker bus designed to lull people to sleep. The tour organizer says he dreamed up the idea when he saw a social media post from a friend who said he was so stressed out by work, he couldn’t sleep at night. But whenever he was on the bus heading home, he quickly dozed off. From there the idea was born. Tickets cost between $13 and $51 dollars depending on whether you book a seat on the upper or lower deck. You also get a goodie bag with eye-mask and ear plugs to help sleep better. Some passengers bring their own blankets, slippers and travel pillows. Almost everyone comes dressed in their most comfortable clothes. Sleep experts say it’s a good idea because many people don’t have enough time to sleep. Since they have to commute, they use that time to get some shut-eye. And owners are cashing in.
