Florida based Burger King is being sued by a handful of people who say the meat shown in advertisements and pictures on the menu are not telling the real story. Instead, the lawsuit states, when unwrapped the whoppers are pretty wimpy and Big Kings aren’t so regal. The lawsuit, filed earlier this week, accuses the company of materially overstating the size of nearly every menu item in its current advertisements. According to the Seattle Times it is seeking damages on behalf of four plaintiffs and millions of others it says have suffered financial damages when being deceived by the pictures. It also wants the company to replace all of its advertising photos with ones that show the products’ actual sizes. The customers say they would not have ordered their burger king sandwiches if the photos were accurate. Burger King has declined to comment on the claims, saying it does not comment on pending or potential litigations. This is not the first time Burger King has faced these accusations and it probably won’t be the last. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
