Ever been told you’ll never do anything with your life? Prove them right. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

When he was growing up 37 year-old Shoji Morimoto was told he would never do anything with his life and do nothing. Eventually he found a job in publishing but quickly realized maybe those people were right. He did enjoy doing nothing, and now, he makes money doing nothing. For about $86 plus expenses for travel and meals people can rent Morimoto.  But he will not do anything except eat, drink and give a simple response. Who would require such a service you ask? According to the Independent UK most people who rent him are bored or lonely and simply want someone to listen. He says he has been hired to have lunch, pose for social media photos, catch butterflies in the park or listen to health care workers talk about their frustrations. He says he personally doesn’t like being cheered on through tough situations, sometimes you just need someone to stand beside you. And it seems a lot of people agree, he has thousands of loyal clients. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
