Want to work from the road? Don’t forget your home office.

With companies sending people home to work and others being laid off, many people are looking at remote opportunities. Not having to go into the office is opening up the possibility of working anywhere in the world you want.

But there are things to consider. According to Travel + Leisure magazine, there is a secret to working from anywhere.

For example, create a spot in your home just for work. You could be working in the middle of your childhood home, in the country you’ve always wanted to visit, or maybe in a remote village deep in the jungle. Either way, there will be distractions, so dedicate a place just for work. It triggers your brain to focus on what needs to get done.

Next, top-notch Wi-Fi is non-negotiable. No matter where you are, you need to connect with the rest of the world. A fast, reliable internet connection where you live is a must.
