Burnout is real, and it’s spreading. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

It seems we all can get burned out at work.  Maybe all the time, or only on certain days, either way workers are exhausted, tired and in some cases depressed. And besides having a negative effect on you, it also has negative effects on organizations. After all, unhappy employees are unproductive employees which can be damaging to a company’s bottom line. Fortunately, according to Forbes, there are things a company can do to find solutions for employees. For example, create meaning. Align people’s passions with their responsibilities as much as possible. Remind them how their work helps co-workers and the company as a whole and let them know they are appreciated. Another tip, give people a break on weekends and let them enjoy vacations without bothering them. Or making them feel guilty about taking time off. This allows them to spend time doing things they enjoy which in turn makes them happier when at work. For more ways companies can prevent burnout among their employees go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. Burned out workers benefits no one. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
