The Positive Side of COVID-19?

Your workplace looks different and that might be a good thing.

You or most of your co-workers are likely working from home, you could be getting hazard pay or maybe you’re on hiatus. Either way there are a few things about this new system that experts say might be good.

For example, your manager might have said your job can never be done from home. Now we see it can be done, which could mean more flexibility for you. Another perk is reduced regulations. There are times where paperwork or appointments tie up our day. But thanks to new rules over social distancing the old rules don’t apply.

The government is waiving in-person requirements for starting a new job and the need for permits for some minor jobs are being suspended. Doctors are calling people to say they can come in instead of waiting around in a small room for who knows how long.

Finally people and companies are becoming more flexible. Car companies are making ventilators and liquor companies are churning out sanitizers. Sometimes change is a good thing.
