Apple is growing a few new ideas. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.
Earlier this week Apple announced a slew of new features coming to the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. Considering this was the first live worldwide developer’s conference since the pandemic, the company delivered. First, the next software update is going to make your phone a lot more personal. You will now be able to retract text messages you’ve sent or edit them when you realize there’s a typo. Good news for anyone that has fired off texts in the middle of an argument, or maybe knocked back a few cocktails and texted an ex. You will also be able to customize your lock screen. You can now customize the front and font color for the clock and add things such as weather, your fitness goals or sports scores. Apple Pay will now give you the option to buy now and pay later with equal payments over six weeks, without fees or interest. And car play will allow you to fully customize the look and feel of your car’s display. Not a bad product line up. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
