Marriage Trouble
Listen Now: Marriage Trouble
Jobs can cause a lot of problems for people, including the end of a marriage. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.
You can get a lot out of a job. A steady paycheck, insurance, experience, and according to TheLadders.com, a divorce. Turns out some industries are seeing higher divorce rates once people reach the age of thirty. Things such as long hours, time away from home and high stress are some reasons behind the uptick. But, as is true with most things, some careers have a higher chance of causing trouble in your marriage. According to TheLadders.com there are 21 of them to watch out for. That includes medical and health services managers. The divorce rate, 13%. With around the clock work and required travel in some cases, medical and health services managers are usually stressed out, but paid well. Another job on the list, carpenters. The divorce rate is also 13% because of the high risk of injury and the overtime. For more jobs that lead to marriage woes go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. Till work do you part.
