No matter how high or low you are on the totem pole, chances are at some point you are forced to make a decision. But as you get more responsibility and your title becomes fancier, you might find it harder to make a decision. So how do you make a move when the stakes are high? According to FastCompany there are ten principles to help you make the right call. For example, be kind. There is a big difference between being kind and being nice. Firing someone is not nice and it’s a hard decision to make but it can be considered a kind move if they are not right for the role and firing them helps them find a better position.
