The Lanesborough is a luxury hotel in London. This year it was named the best hotel in the city by Travel and Leisure Magazine but not because of its design, amenities or location. Instead it’s because of a small Siberian Forest cat named Lili-Bet that found her way to the hotel in June and never left.
Her duties include greeting guests and lounging around the grounds. And to make sure she is comfortable and enjoys her new home, a group of employees known as the cat committee take care of her during their shifts.
This is not the only hotel with felines on the staff. It’s actually part of a chain that welcomes animals into its rank to give guests a little something extra. And in case you’ve always wanted to stay at the Lanesborough on your next trip across the pond don’t worry, Siberians are naturally hypoallergenic and won’t trigger any allergies.
And since the hotel caters to cats, it probably will also cater to your needs.
