Considering a career change? Your best bet might be high tech.

In today’s world, LinkedIn has become the go-to place to post your resume and send it to the world. But according to the company’s head of product there are a few hidden tips that could help you find your next job.

According to Inc.com, that includes being an early bird. There are one hundred million job applications on LinkedIn every month. But being one of the first to apply can greatly increase your chances of landing a job. You can do this by setting up job alerts and get a notification within minutes of a relevant job posting.

Once you get that alert, track those opportunities. The site has a job tracker which will keep track of your saved and applied-to jobs. That way you can follow-up if you haven’t heard back and stay on top of the process.

For more ways LinkedIn can help you land a paycheck, check out the original article now. There are lots of ways to reach the world, just use them right.
