Listen Now: Jose Cuervo Express: A Tequila-Filled Train Ride Across Mexico
[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]There’s a new type of vacation rolling through and it’s going to need a side of salt and lime.
Jose Cuervo, everyone’s favorite college friend, is launching a new train ride. Called the Jose Cuervo Express, it takes guests on a round-trip luxury ride from Guadalajara, Mexico to Tequila, Mexico; the birthplace of the beverage.
The train takes passengers through the blue agave fields that make tequila en route to the city of the same name. Once there guests experience mariachi, mexican games, entertainment, professional tasting and guided tours.
The trip from Guadalajara to Tequila is just under forty miles, with cocktails and snacks served along the way. And liquor will be flowing; staff will be mixing up drinks made with Jose Cuervo to give riders the full experience.
The train runs every Saturday with the full ride lasting about eleven hours. You can purchase the express package, the premium experience and the experience plus. While each offers the same activities the premium packages have more luxury accomodations and tastings of high end tequila.
Bet the day after could be a little rough.
