Heading to a job interview, watch out for traps. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

You might have a loaded resume, killer references and qualifications.  But there’s still the job interview. And no matter how prepared you are, the people on the other end of the table are just as prepared. So, to help you put your best foot forward, the job resource site ladders.com put together the five most common questions designed to trap you. For example, why do you want to leave your current job? This is designed to get you talking bad about your job or employer. The interviewer is trying to determine if you’re quick to anger or a poor team player. Answer by saying you are looking for a new challenge. Or what are your weaknesses. Avoid the standard “I just care too much” or “I work too hard.” Instead come prepared with an actual answer such as “I need to know when to ask someone for help.” For more pitfalls and how to sidestep them go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. It always helps to have a road map. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
