Listen Now: Japanese Billionaire Cancels Intergalactic Search For Love
[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]
A Japanese billionaire is canceling his search for love, on earth and space.
Earlier this month Yusaku Maezawa said he was looking for someone to join him on an out of this world first date, literally. That’s because the billionaire has a ticket to be the first private passenger to ride on Elon Musk’s Space-X. The voyage will take him and a partner of his choosing on a trip around the moon.
So, to help him find the perfect person he put out the call, an effort that was set to be made into a television show. But a few days ago he suddenly called off the search, breaking the hearts of wanna-be astronauts everywhere. On his Wwitter page he wrote that despite his genuine determination toward the show, he had some mixed feelings about his participation.
He also apologized to the nearly thirty thousand women who had already applied for the chance to be his date. He said he feels remorseful for wasting anyone’s time, especially because they were all taking a big chance.
I guess money can’t buy you love.
