Want to raise eyebrows at your next interview? Ask tough questions.
According to the job search company Ladders, there are a number of questions you can ask a potential employer that could increase your chances of an offer. Out of their list of eighteen, pick the ones that make the most sense to you but the company says you should always end with the last question on their list. These questions will show how your personality fits with the company’s mission and that you care about the long-term strategy.
For example, you might ask what their biggest personal challenge is. Maybe they are having to supervise too many things. If you let them know you intend to be someone who works with little oversight, they can focus on something else.
