Recently Krispy Kreme announced it was celebrating summer by taking its signature doughnut flavors and turning them into ice-creams. Now the company is flipping the script. Recently Krispy Kreme announced a partnership with Good Humor and Popsicle to release doughnuts inspired by three of their most popular frozen treats. First, there is the Popsicle Firecracker inspired doughnut, an original glazed dipped in blue raspberry sugar then topped with dollops of red and white flavored kreme. Then comes the Vanilla King Cone Doughnut, described as a doughnut filled with vanilla custard kreme, dipped in chocolate icing, topped with sugar cone pieces and peanuts and drizzled with more chocolate icing. Finally, the Creamsicle inspired doughnut. In this case the doughnut is filled with vanilla custard kreme, with icing and topped with a drizzle of white icing and mini sprinkles. The specialty doughnuts are currently available at Krispy Kreme locations around the country. But like most of the company’s promotions this is a limited time only.
