HR Changes
Listen Now: HR Changes
Everyone’s job looks a little different these days, especially in one department. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.
While we have all faced challenges these past few years, the people in the Human Resources departments have had it especially rough. Suddenly they were the ones everyone was going to with questions no one really knew how to answer. And as we enter the new year, it’s a department still changing. According to FastCompany.com there are seven ways in which HR will look different in the new year. For example, equity, inclusion and access. The shift to remote and hybrid work opened up the field for many companies. It no longer matters if your candidates live where the company is located or are willing to move. Thanks to remote working, anyone is now an eligible candidate for the job. Or flexibility rules. HR used to follow a one-size fits all approach but that doesn’t work anymore. Some people can’t wait to return to the office, while others never will. For more ways HR is changing go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. It’s the era of the employee. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
