Want Happy Employees? How To Show Them You Care

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]Looking for a job? You better look the part.

Want to keep your employees happy? Show them you care.

It’s no secret that people who like their jobs and enjoy being there put in more effort than those counting down the minutes until quitting time. So, besides ping pong tables and free meals what are some ways to show people you care?

According to the job resource site Inc.com, there are five things you should do every week. First, make time for a chat. Most people have days filled with meetings, phone calls and emails. Set aside at least fifteen minutes to check in with employees and see how they’re doing in their personal lives. Get to know things about them so they don’t feel like seat fillers but part of a team.

Next, send out a group email for jobs well done. Every win doesn’t have to be celebrated in an elaborate way but take time to send a note to thank everyone for a job well done. For more ways to show you care, check out the original article now.

And make sure you mean it.
