[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]
These days everyone is looking for some relief… especially those who have yet to enter the working world.
Colleges across the country are closing their doors, sending students home and switching to online learning. But not living on campus and going to class doesn’t mean a free ride. For many, they’re still paying student loans, their part-time jobs have been cut and they’re suddenly looking for ways to get by.
According to MSN Money, there are options for college students in need of financial aid. For example, independent students can get a stimulus check. Under the coronavirus aid, relief, and economic security act, students over twenty-four will get the full twelve hundred dollars, assuming their income is seventy-five thousand dollars or less.
Students who are over twenty-four, married and with children will receive more. Students who are still claimed as dependents will be out of luck.
Another option: unemployment. If you were laid off by the pandemic you can file for benefits. For more money tips, check out the original article now. Time to learn a new lesson.
