How To Score A Free Home (Ghost Included)

A Louisiana real estate company is giving away a home to anyone who doesn’t scare easily.

The home is in Lafayette, Louisiana and is free to anyone willing to come pick it up and move it off the property. The home was built in the late 1920’s to early 1930’s and has been empty for six months. According to a facebook post by the real estate agent, the previous owners moved out when the land was bought for development.

But there’s a catch. According to people who commented on the facebook post, the house is haunted. In fact, some compare it to the Amityville Horror House whose story has been made into multiple movies. One woman told The Daily Mirror her great grandmother died in the front room of the house in 1967. She says after she passed, the family would hear her spirit moving the pots and pans around.

Other owners say they have heard strange noises and chalked it up to a ghost roaming around too. So, if you don’t mind a roommate, make an offer. Seems even free has its price.
