Most women avoid stepping on the scale, unless that scale can get you free drinks.
A bar in Dubai is making headlines over a new promotion that gives women free drinks based on how much they weigh. The higher the number on the scale, the more you’re able to throw back for free.
Female customers can redeem the promotion by weighing themselves on a scale inside the bar or writing their weight on a piece of paper and slipping it to the bartender. Then you cash in and after the exchange rate.
A woman weighing one hundred and fifty pounds would get almost twenty dollars in free drinks. The bar’s manager says it looks for different promotions. For instance, in one promotion they awarded free drinks to women between the ages of thirty and forty.
The manager says it’s all meant to be fun and they never ask women who write down their weight to prove it. Instead they just serve them free drinks for whatever number is written down. The manager says he wants women to feel good about themselves and celebrate with a free cocktail.
