It’s always better to be over dressed than under dressed, unless you’re at a job interview. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

According to the job interview anxiety survey, ninety-two percent of employed Americans get stressed out about job interviews. and one of the biggest things getting people nervous is what to wear. According to theladders.com it is very bad to be overdressed for an interview. Most people go to the old standby of a suit for a job interview. But showing up in a suit when the company is known for its laid-back dress code shows you didn’t do your research. Or it shows you did your research but didn’t care enough about the dress code and rules. So, how do you plan your wardrobe? First, do your research using websites such as Glassdoor and LinkedIn. This will give you some idea of the culture, what other people say about it and in some cases how they dress. if the dress code really is casual, stick to the guidelines but make sure you look put together and ready for work. stand out, but for the right reasons.
