Boomerangs, objects you throw that eventually come back, are now showing up at work. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

Over the past year we’ve heard about the great resignation. Millions of people quitting their jobs because they want to change things up, they aren’t being treated well or they were just tired of the same old routine. Whatever the reason, companies have been losing employees at a record rate. But according to Forbes this might not be the case for long. The next workplace momentum is expected to feature boomerang employees. People who leave a company and later return to it. the reason? In many cases people will realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Their new job might not be the right fit. If they were looking to take a break, they might be ready to jump back in to the rat race. So, should companies hire them back? According to Forbes this should be done on a case-by-case basis.
