According to inc.com there is a major component missing in the workplace. And it could be a reason so many people are walking away, a lack of love. Yes, this seems like a strange concept in connection to your job, but it’s not the idea of love you might be thinking. According to inc.com you should look at love as wholesome respect and admiration between human beings. Now isn’t that something you want from your coworkers and expect in return? So how does a good leader make and maintain a loving environment? First, find out if love is present. Examine your personal strategy, company values and mission statement. Is the word love present? Putting it in writing lets people know you’re serious but creating a better environment. use words like love, care and compassion. You spend a lot of time at work and there’s no reason you can’t make your work family feel like a real family. they might pay your back in more ways than one. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
