Turns out there is a way to ace your job interview, know what’s coming. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

According to TheLadders.com, interview questions typically fall into one of three categories: competency-based, behavioral and traditional. And to help you prepare for each, TheLadders.com has some example questions and the best way to answer. Take traditional interview questions, these are meant to tell your employer who you are and if you will be a good fit. Questions include tell me about yourself, what is your greatest strength and how would your current manager describe you? A more specific example, tell me something not highlighted on your resume. A good way to answer would be to describe volunteer work or something you do in your spare time that relates to your job responsibilities. Another traditional question, how do you handle failure? In this case, explain that you know it is impossible to avoid and the best thing you can do is to learn from what went wrong. For more common interview questions and suggested answers go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. Be prepared. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
