Resolving to save money this year, why not get a little help? I’m Brian Banmiller on business.

Twenty twenty was a hard year for people and you might still be struggling. So this new year is a good time to take a look at your budget and plan your financial future. And according to entrepreneur dot com, there are apps that will manage your expenses and increase your income. For example, family budget. This free platform allows you to keep track of income from salary, incentives or benefits, and your monthly expenses. It also helps you calculate how long it will take to reach a certain savings goal. Or try money strands, an app that lets you track expenses and classify them based on where you spend most of your money. Money mentor gives advice on spending and savings in addition to creating budgets and scheduling payments. Sort of like having a financial advisor in the palm of your hand. Then there are apps such as Poshmark that let you sell items you don’t need anymore. Technology is meant to make life easier, so why not also richer. Brian Banmiller, CBS news.
