According to Fortune.com as the great resignation continues, younger workers are job-hopping. Basically, leaving their roles after a short time, in some cases for higher-paying gigs. According to information from LinkedIn labs, this year the amount of users changing jobs was up almost 38% from the year before. Gen Z is shifting careers the most with a 60% increase, followed by millennials at 35%. And according to Fortune.com this trend shows no sign of slowing down. With so many people quitting, CEO’s are realizing they need to treat people better or they can easily leave. And it takes a lot of time and money to continue training people to fill the same job over and over again. Also fueling the trend. People aren’t keeping what they make a secret. People are talking about it on social media so they know exactly what to ask for. Times are changing, and companies need to adapt. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
