A Night at Blockbuster

Looking for a new adventure? Make it a Blockbuster night.

If you were born before the Nineties, you probably know about Blockbuster video stores–the places you would go, pick out a movie, pick up some snacks and prepare for a night in.

Thanks to technology, the stores have disappeared from every city–except Bend, Oregon, where the final Blockbuster stands.

Now, thanks to Airbnb, you can get your fix. Beginning August 17th, people can land a night inside the last Blockbuster. Three nights will be available for up to four people at $4 a pop. The store’s manager says the four people have to know each other, be healthy, and up for a socially-distanced good time.

The night in the store includes all the movies you can watch, snacks and pizza–everything you need for an old school evening of fun.

The manager says she is doing everything she can to keep the last store standing and this is a way to bring in some extra money–and make dreams come true for every child of the Eighties.
