A Happy WorkforceRichard Branson has specific criteria for a successful workforce; not actually working.

In an interview with The New York Times, Branson and his daughter Holly said the perfect business world would have unlimited leave, the ability to work from home and longer holidays. They are all perks many other business leaders offer employees but most american companies won’t even consider.

Holly Branson has worked at Virgin for ten years, and improving the workplace culture there, she helped bring unlimited leave to the UK. She says as long as you get your work done, it doesn’t matter where you are while doing it.

Richard Branson says a company that lets employees take a vacation for two months and not feel bad about it would have employees that will pay them back with hard work and loyalty.

Another workplace issue they’re tackling; maternity and paternity leave. Both father and daughter say that it should be culturally acceptable for a man to take time off to be with his family.

After all these people are working towards your bottom line, so why not pad theirs?
