During a job interview there’s no question that everything you say and do is being analyzed. But did you know there are certain things your potential employer is looking at more than others? Forbes magazine interviewed a hiring manager about the six key issues you face in your job interview.
For example, not only should you fit in with the current team culture, you should also add to it. If a company already has a positive work environment they want someone who will contribute to that. So your answers and temperament will be taken into account.
Something else a potential employer wants to know about you; what soft skills do you bring to the table. These are things that might not be in the top list of job requirements but are important to employers; things such as communication, conflict resolution and dependability. Highlight these skills when asked, “do you have anything else to add?”
