Travel Perks

Traveling is expense, unless your destination helps foot the bill.

If you’re like most people, your summer vacation consisted of a five hour travel radius. And with many countries not quite rolling out the welcome mat for travelers from America, it might be awhile before your passport gets any use.

But when you can fly again–Geneva, Switzerland is welcoming you with $100. When visitors to the city nestled near the Swiss Alps book at least two nights in a hotel, they will automatically get a gift card. That card, worth just over $100, can be used to explore the area.

And your options won’t be limited, more than 60 hotels, 15 excursions and about 80 restaurants are currently accepting the voucher. Visitors will receive one gift card per hotel room and they can be used through December 31st.

Other countries are offering similar incentives to bring tourists back. Sicily will pay half of your flight and a third of your hotel bill. Resorts in Mexico are offering discounts on theme parks and spas.

You just need to get in.
