Listen Now: 4 Critical Cover Letter Items To Highlight Your WFH Experience
[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]
The job market has changed, and your cover letter needs to keep up.
With the pandemic still part of our daily lives and companies giving employees the permanent option of working from home, more people are looking for remote jobs. And according to Ladders.com, there are four things your cover letter needs to land one.
For example, personalize it. Share your personality and work history, make it clear what you know about the company and why you’re excited to work there.
Next, share your remote experiences. Not everyone can handle working from home, so make a point to share how successful you have been doing it. Make sure to point out your value to the new company. Demonstrate your abilities in more details than your resume. Show the skills you have and make a connection between what you can do and how that benefits your potential employer.
Finally, add clarity. Your cover letter should explain who you are, why you are applying, why you are the best candidate and why you want to work there
And don’t forget contact information.
