There are multiple factors that bring you to the end of your work rope. That includes not making progress, not enough staff to help and the pressure to always be present and checking in, even when off the clock.
Recently the job site Ladders.com took a look at what people consider the biggest job stressors and found the six industries where they have the most impact and could lead to faster burnout.
For example: social work. Social workers have a hard job, they have to sit and listen to terrible stories for most of their day and in some cases they can’t help the people that need it most. Because of this they work in a highly stressful environment and don’t get the relief they need.
Another example: emergency responders; long hours, a changing schedule and high emotions can take their toll, not to mention lack of sleep.
