A Toxic Nine-To-Five

A Toxic Nine-To-FiveSome companies are just plain bad to work for, and there are a few ways to tell if you’re knee deep in the middle of one.

Most managers and CEOs know for a business to survive and succeed their employees should be happy. Unfortunately that’s not always the case and some companies are not just a bad place to work; they are toxic to your daily life. To help you figure out if you are at such a place Inc Magazine has identified eight warning signs.

For example: if management only focuses on what’s wrong. This leads to employees spending their days on eggshells because the boss is always looking for someone to blame when something goes wrong.

Or when employees are overworked. People are given so much responsibility that their personal lives are sacrificed and they find themselves stressed out and unhappy.

For more indicators that you work in a toxic environment and what you can do about it, check out the original article on Inc.com.

Everyone can have a bad day at work; but don’t let the company ruin your life.
