Listen Now: Coppola Cannabis: ‘Godfather’ Director Launches Luxury Weed Line
[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]Director Francis Ford Coppola is expanding his empire from wine to weed.
The man behind such classics as “The Godfather,” “Dracula” and “Apocalypse Now” is getting into the cannabis business. Coppola has inked a licensing deal with the Humboldt Brothers, a business that owns humboldt county marijuana farms in california.
Coppola will produce a limited edition of three different cannabis flower strains. The grower’s series by Francis Ford Coppola will be available at select licensed pot dispensaries in California and through Chill, a Bay Area marijuana delivery service.
Coppola who also produces wines and manages high-end hotels in exotic locations says this seemed like a logical project for him. He says wine and cannabis are two gifts from mother nature and expertise making one applies to the other.
The partnership between Coppola and The Humboldt Brothers will focus on the gourmet side of the cannabis industry with a three-gram package of three different strains, plus rolling paper and a pipe, going for ninety nine dollars.
And I bet this is one business venture they wouldn’t mind seeing go up in smoke.
