Snail Mail

Snail MailThere is a person who comes into your life everyday giving you some of the best and worst information you will ever receive. And now there are a couple of things they want you to know.

You are just one of the many stops on your mail carriers route and in the midst of all their pickups and deliveries they talked to MSN Lifestyle about the 23 things customers should know.

For example, on Valentine’s Day think twice about the red envelopes and decorative decals. Their machines don’t read them as well and your declaration of love could end up on the wrong doorstep.

Here’s another tip. Media mail is a bargain. Sending ten pounds of books from New York to San Francisco is about $7 with media mail compared to about $24 with regular mail. Also mail carriers tend to put anything they think is good news on the top of the pile just in case your day needs a pick me up.
