Listen Now: The $9 Million Dollar Cocktail That Vegas Tourists Are Clamoring For

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]We all want what we can’t have, and that temptation is paying off for one Las Vegas casino.

You might think there is no shortage of alcohol in sin city but turns out you would be wrong. In December of 2010, The Cosmopolitan Hotel debuted a drink at its three-story chandelier bar. It was supposed to be seasonal and only on the menu for three months but high demand changed everything.

The secret to its success is the finishing touch of a small flower. When eaten, the flower numbs your tongue and sends your taste buds into overdrive. The whole drink then becomes an experience that people love.

The experience is so great that while the drink hasn’t been featured on the menu in eight years it has still pulled in more than nine million dollars in sales all thanks to word of mouth.

The hotel capitalized on the cocktail even more by charging two dollars for extra flowers to really kick things up a notch. I can imagine every job interview there starts with being able to whip up the fifteen-dollar drink.
