When the global travel industry returns, you might find some new locations on your bucket list.
Many countries around the world are preparing for tourists to return in force. And for some this could be their chance to establish themselves as must-see destinations.
According to Forbes magazine, here are some locations with the beauty, history and culture to capture visitors. For example, Ethiopia. The country has a background that boasts being the second civilization on earth to adopt christianity and the only African nation to defeat a European power and resist being colonized.
Another place to check out: Iran. Visitors can do everything from skiing, to lounging on white sand beaches, to hiking a rainforest. Plus, some of the oldest cities and temples are found here. Your biggest hurdle will be visa requirements, but a post-pandemic world might help ease some of those.
