Listen Now: The Ultimate Sales Question (Guaranteed To Help You Sell More)
Working in sales? Here’s how to boost your bottom line.
When you go to places such as Starbucks or McDonald’s, chances are you’ve heard the question “is that everything” or “anything else?” But according to the job resource site Inc.com, there is one question that can change the whole game.
What if your server asked “what else looks delicious today?” That happened to a woman at Starbucks and she says it worked good enough for her to buy a few extra treats.
Experts say the idea of what else looks good to you opens up the brain to the idea of getting more. Suddenly you’re taking a second look at the merchandise, and it doesn’t just apply to food.
If you work in retail ask the customer “what are you on the hunt for” or “what are you excited to find?” If you work at a grocery store ask “is there anything you weren’t able to find?”
Experts say reframing the question opens up dialogue, makes customers more willing to open their wallets and add to your bottom line.
