The Right Questions

Looking for your dream job? Ask the right questions.

In every job interview, your potential employer will ask if you have any questions for them. Some people ask about salary and benefits. Others about perks and some ask nothing.

But according to Forbes, there are three questions that will get you closer to getting hired. For example, what’s it like working here? Ask this question to understand what you’re getting into. This will avoid situations completely wrong for you and end up with you back on the job market.

People can feel awkward asking these types of direct questions, but in most cases, hiring managers are very transparent. Another tip, check out who will be interviewing you. See if you can find something in common to chat about and ease yourself into the question and answer portion.

The second question is, what’s your approach to leadership? Find out if your new boss is a micromanager or has the hands-off approach. Depending on their answer, you’ll know if you’ll fit in.
