Just nailed your job interview, make sure they don’t forget you. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

It’s good practice to write a thank you email after your interview. Experts say this extra step can emphasize a job well done in your job interview, and help you advance to the next step. So how do you compose a strong thank you email? According to Entrepreneur.com there are a few tips to keep you top of mind with those making the decisions. First, set a positive tone. You should be professional and courteous without sounding too formal. Include some of your personality, these people could be your coworkers and should get to know you. Another tip, use this as a chance to provide additional information. Maybe elaborate on a response from your conversation or discuss how experienced you are for the position. A follow up email can be a platform to provide additional information you didn’t already mention. For more tips go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. The first step to all of this, make sure you have the correct contact information sent to the correct person. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
